Effective remedies for insomnia

Insomnia or the inability to fall asleep is a common problem in today’s world. It is a problem that affects many thousands of people around the world. That is why we discuss here what you can do against insomnia without resorting to medication.

Natural remedies for insomnia

Insomnia causes many problems, from dark circles under your eyes to fatigue to headaches and irritation, poor concentration, problems with driving or communication, decreased energy, muscle aches and poor performance at work or school.

Below are some effective remedies for insomnia.

Give yourself a massage

Wrap your feet in a warm towel or wear an extra pair of socks when you go to bed. After all, cold feet are not good for people who have trouble falling asleep.

Before going to bed, massage or rub the feet, especially around the toes. Use almond oil for this.

Otherwise, mix some olive oil with four drops of orange blossom essence and massage your temples with it. You can also apply this to your feet, where the big toe bends.

You can also grate two onions and cook them for twelve minutes. Then add deer hay to it. Let this soak in a washcloth and moisten your forehead, chest, neck and neck. Repeat this every night for a week.

Improve your sleeping environment

Put some natural remedies in a pillow, such as chamomile, eucalyptus or orange blossom. It gives your room a wonderful scent and it also relaxes you and gives you more rest.

You can also add a few drops of these essential oils to a fragrance diffuser: tuberose, valerian, mandarin, benjui, sweet marjoram, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, rose, neroli, melissa, orange blossom, lavender, jasmine, or chamomile.
