  • Beat the eggs first and add the sugar, oil, milk and vanilla extract.
  • Then add the flour and beat until the dough is smooth.
  • Then first cut the apples into cubes and mix them with the flour and cornstarch.
  • Then add them to the dough.
  • Grease a baking pan and sprinkle with flour before putting in the dough.

  • 2 tablespoons baking powder (20 g)

  • Grated lemon to taste
  • 5 large apples

Preparation

  • First put a cup of sugar with a little water in an ovenproof dish and put it in the oven until it becomes caramel. Then set this aside.
  • Wash, peel and slice the apples and place on top of the caramel.
  • Then put the remaining sugar, eggs, vanilla and lemon zest in a bowl.
  • Then beat the mixture well until the sugar dissolves. Gradually add the oil while beating at a medium speed.
  • Add the flour, baking powder and milk until it becomes a medium-thick dough.
  • Then pour the mixture over the apples and caramel and place it back in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Then let it cool and turn the cake onto a wire rack.
  • Finally, sprinkle with cinnamon to serve and eat.

3. Apple and Almond Pie

  • 4 large green apples
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (10 g)
  • 2 cups chopped, toasted almonds (400 g)
  • 1 cup margarine (250 g)
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar (350 g)
  • 6 eggs, the whites separated from the yolks
  • 3 cups sponge cake flour (500 g)
  • 1 cup milk (250 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla (10 g)

Preparation

  • First preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Then grease a mold about 26 centimeters in diameter and sprinkle it with flour.
  • Wash, peel and remove the seeds from the apples. Then cut them into medium sized pieces.
  • Then place the apples, together with the cinnamon and a cup of sugar, in a large saucepan. Place over a high heat until the sugar melts and the apple is firm.
  • Then let it cool and then drain off the liquid.
  • Mix the liquid with the milk. Set the apples aside.
  • Using an electric mixer, mix the margarine with the rest of the sugar in a bowl. Then add the egg yolks one by one.
  • Then add the flour, milk and vanilla and beat on low speed. Set this aside for now.
  • Beat the egg whites and add them gently to the dough after they have become stiff.
  • Then add the apples that were set aside, as well as the toasted almonds.
  • Finally bake the cake for about 45 minutes. When it’s done, you can poke it with a toothpick without the dough sticking to it.

4. Puff pastry apple pie

  • 1 rectangular sheet of cooled puff pastry
  • 3 medium apples
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (45 g)
  • 4 tablespoons of honey (100 g)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (60 g)
  • Edible glass to decorate

Preparation

  • First preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Cover the baking tray with baking paper.
  • Spread the puff pastry on a greased and floured surface and work with the rolling pin until it has the desired thickness. Remove the irregular edges, then place the dough on the baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Then prick the puff pastry several times with a fork, so that it does not rise too much when it is baked.
  • Then cut the apples, which have already been peeled and cored, into slices and spread them over the dough.
  • Then sprinkle with sugar and spread a few cubes of butter on top.
  • Then bake for 25 minutes and until the puff pastry is brown and the apples are soft.
  • Melt the honey in the microwave for 30 seconds. This will glaze the cake.
  • Then bake the cake for another five minutes.
  • Finally, remove the baking paper and let it cool.
